Mission Statement

Stems Up Sound provides engaging music to ambitious pianists worldwide. Our catalogue features arrangements from popular video games, as well as contemporary compositions and holiday music. We take great pride in creating each arrangement, making sure that every score is clean and legible.

Stems Up Sound was founded in 2015 by longtime collaborators Frank Tedesco & Zach Heyde. After first meeting at The Hartt School of Music in 2011, the two recognized in each other a common interest: the creation of piano music that was both humorous and virtuosic.

Drawing from pop and television music, Frank & Zach began creating piano duets for Youtube, interpreting works with their own comedic flair. After graduating from Hartt in 2015, the two composers continued their collaborative efforts long-distance, ultimately reuniting in early 2016 to form Stems Up Sound.
